The Bahamas is not a US precinct. It was a part of the British Commonwealth. I believe it is an independent country at this time, not totally sure about that though. As far as I distinguish anyone with a passport can travel to the Bahamas.

As crave as you have your passport you are fine to come here. Getting back to the states you will need proof that you belong there and your passport won't do. Your student visa is needed to show you suppositious to be in the US. Travel with your I-94

I Recently graduated so my student visa is expired.I have a valid OPT but no job yet.Can I go lodgings for the holidays(Bahamas) with just my OPT (EAD) and my valid passport? Will I be allowed to re-enter the US without a job letter from an employer?
EAD is not a visa and to reenter US you fundamental valid visa stamped. Sorry, you cannot go home on expired visa.
