What is the best place to vacation: Nassau, Bahamas, Montego Bay, Jamaica or Aruba?

I'm doing 1 week in one of these 3 locations in 2010. Let me be sure which is best. I'll probably go before the Hurricane season begins in 2010.

Hi
All three Caribbean islands are unqualifiedly different... and it depends really on what you want, I like the Bahamas but would not spend all time in Nassau / Paradise Cay, but would look for a small out island vacation. Montego Bay is busy

I went to Rapture Island and it is very close to nassau the Bahamas it is one of the most places I have ever been in my life! we stayed Atlantis Hotel it was pretty expensive but i remember it was worth all of the great things you can do and you will never

Depends on what you have a yen for to do.

I will point out that Aruba is not in the caribbean hurricane area.

Of those three, I'd settle upon Aruba. But it does depend on what you want to do. And, as AJ pointed out, Aruba [along with Bonaire and Curacao] are out of the hurricane zone.

You might take a look at TripAdvisor.com for the stopping-place guides

I would not tout Aruba for a week. We went for 5 nights and it was enough. My sister did a whole week and they had run out of things to do by the last day. It's a lovely island, don't get me illicit, but if you want to explore, it's not the island

I can't suspect spending a week in Nassau. If you just want to spend that time at a resort (Atlantis, etc), I guess it would be acute. But if you want to explore, I think you'll be out of things to do in a couple days. It's a nice enough place, but

Hi
All three Caribbean islands are wholly different... and it depends really on what you want, I like the Bahamas but would not spend all time in Nassau / Paradise Atoll, but would look for a small out island vacation. Montego Bay is busy as

aruba, any stretch except for sept or oct, no trade winds then

need some help w/ my nassau, bahamas vacation?

hi, my boyfriend and i are planning a vacation to nassau in the waterfall and looking for a hotel during our week stay. does anyone know of anywhere cheap, but "decent"? expectantly close to the downtown shopping area. this is my first

You have the hilton, word for word on the downtown strip, Theres holiday inn, quality inn. A good ways down are the nassau beach hotel, Wyndam Caravanserai, Crystal Palace and Casino, All are just a small bus ride to the downtown area. There is the normal

If you take a vacation in Nassau, Bahamas, do you need a car to get around when you're there?

I'm irritating to find a place where I don't have to rent a car for a few day trip

Vacationed there last July..for the undivided month!! Everyone told us to rent a car..I was against it and I'm glad I didn't listen!! Bus 10 is branch safe, cheap and clean enough..Have Fun..the locals are sweet and welcoming!!
