Large ago in the biography of the Caribbean, pirates took leadership of Grand Bahama. Nowadays, the isle is the most accepted stopping-place in the Bahamas. One of the reasons is its shut propinquity to the U.S., unbiased fifty miles from Florida, and the experience that English is the pre-eminent patois. How useful!

More than fifty years ago the view of one man was decision-making for Grand Bahama’s profoundly ditch-water harbor and planning the conurbation of Freeport. It’s restraint is diligent and unchanging, and the key is strange in the certainty that all utilities and infrastructure are privately owned and operated. Follow-up? Good-looking roads and glitch-manumitted services.

One of the larger islands in the set, Grand Bahama is about 95 miles elongated and 17 miles comprehensive. The cities of Haven Lucaya and Freeport illustrate the modernization of the key. Haven Lucaya, known as the Garden Municipality, is the center of tourism, while Freeport is the transaction hub.

Grand Bahama is full of genuine dreamboat, and that extends underwater with the lavish reefs, caverns, and down in the mouth holes. There are three Governmental Parks, and the majestic Garden of the Groves boasts more the 10,000 plants among its twelve acres.

My summer position for U.S. History is to draw a map of to "draw a free-hand map of the part of the north american continent that includes the nearest-day-forty-eight states of the United States on a blank piece of 8 1/2 x 11 paper." i distress

The following map shows most (if not all) of the rivers, lakes, unworkable bodies, and islands.
