Why do people from Southern Florida go to the Bahamas for vacation?
Besides the certainty that because they can; they're both so close and have the same climate and they have everything the Bahamas has right in front of them, it kinda doesn't make sense, almost every american I met there was from southern FL I'm not
Doubtlessly they cannot aford to go somewhere else, so they will show off saying they went away to.....Bahamas.
Where is the Best place in the bahamas to vacation?
I would like to position an affordable and nice place on a beach, that I can visit frequently throughout the year.
Go with Eleuthera-- from what I've seen, it's the most hush-hush, beautiful, and affordable island in the Bahamas. Try renting a beach home there for a month or so to see if you like it, then start investigating genuine estate there.

What is a good place to stay while on vacation at the Bahamas with an 18-month-old?
My daughter will be a year and half old when we disappear on our Bahama vacation in September. My main concern for her is food (including the availability of warm milk, snacks etc.) and other child essentials.
At the moment we are debating about
Atlantis Hostelry or Crystal Palace resort. I live there.
