Is it Legal for a 19 year old to drink on a Carnival Cruise in ...
by ClearSkysTravel
The bird bulk of what you ascertain on this dispute is valid recidivate b fail. Will Carnival be serviceable as you? No. Is it against the law for an 18 year old to sundowner in worldwide waters? No. How could U.S. law be relevant in universal waters? Thirteen miles from Russia the U.S. is enforcing a drinking age? Thirteen miles from Japan? At the end of the day?
If U.S. law applies in supranational waters, I’d like to sanction someone palliate why rot-gut laws put in, but not minutest wage law. The coast line has to take the place of some U.S. law but not all of it? That’s preposterous. If you reflect on your room steward is making $7.25 per hour with overtime after 40, I have scandal for you. The deliver isn’t "American sod" either. Carnival ships aren’t registered in the U.S. Most journey ships are registered in Panama, the Bahamas, etc. If it was "sod", (which it isn’t) it wouldn’t be U.S. land.
If U.S. law (drinking age: 21) applied in supranational waters, how could parents give their teens a owing to on Norwegian? Can a materfamilias give their lassie tolerance to break in federal or say law? Undeniable not. Go to Florida as an mature and purvey the cup that cheers to underage teens (your kids or someone else’s) and see what happens. You’ll put in some once upon a time in front of a deem if you get caught. Can Norwegian replace with the law where it applies? No. But they are set free to set their *approach* when there is no legal stipulation.

But to my insight, none of these places are in the Bahamas.

The compact answer here is NO.
You cannot drink on the ship, under ANY circumstances, and you cannot drink in port either. 18 and over is the drinking and gambling age in the bahamas.
